Always dreamed of living in a cottage at the edge of town? This 4 Bedroom Cape Cod maybe what your heart has been longing for. It is nestled on a hillside under the shade of a beautiful southern magnolia tree. This home is at the beginning of the cul-de-sac and was built so that you have a view of Mt. Sharon from your living room windows. Just follow the slate rock sidewalk up onto the freshly painted porch. This home features hardwood floors on both the main and upper level (no carpet in this home). The light filled living room has plenty of windows and a gas fireplace. It is the perfect home for entertaining with the flow from the living room, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is said to be the heart of the home. This large kitchen is perfect for creating wonderful meals for family and friends. It has stainless steal appliances, a stone backsplash, tons of cabinet and shelf space. There is a built-in display case and also an extra pantry closet just off the kitchen. You and your guests can enjoy meals in your formal dining room or go savoir coffee out on the screened in side porch. I think that is probably my favorite spot in the entire house. Perfect spot to sit and chat with friends or sit quietly with your favorite book. You will not lack for storage in this house. The hallway before you reach the two main level bedrooms has 3 separate closets. The primary bedroom also has hardwood floors, 2 closets (one with a pocket door) and then a full primary bathroom with a newer vanity sink and light. The second bedroom on the main level has built in bookcases and hardwood floors as well. Up the pretty wood steps to the second floor, you'll find the other two large bedrooms and a second bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower, newer vanity, and lighting. Both full baths have new toilets and the hot water heater was replaced in January of this year. Lights have been upgraded and the windows have been replaced with new. There is an unfinished basement with built in storage shelves and also where you can find the washer and dryer. There is also a deep utility sink and half bath area under the staircase. There is a door that leads into the single car, front load garage. There is extra space for a workbench or storage in the garage. My favorite homes have just as lovely outdoor space as indoors. This lot has fenced in backyard and firepit area for sitting under the night skies and making summer smores. The grounds are lovely with that huge magnolia tree, a rose hedge, boxwood bushes, fir, and hostas. The home has new shutters and a freshly painted retainer wall. The property is very close to the high school and not far from the elementary and middle schools.
