Located in the Tulpehocken Station Historic District, built in 1886 and named on the historic record as a contributing structure, this Queen Anne Victorian has been restored as a labor of love. A brick sidewalk, and original iron fencing greet you up the long driveway into the wraparound porch with porch swing and two skylights. The custom screen door from Victoriana welcomes you through the Dutch door and spacious entry hall. Original pine floors, 10 + high ceilings, original moldings, and Rejuvenation or handmade light fixtures throughout the entire home. This home is dual zoned with a 92% efficiency heating and cooling system and two water heaters-a separate one for the top floor bathroom. The living room sits in front with a brick wood burning fireplace, custom shutters, and ceiling fan. The dining room has a deep coat closet with light, custom fixture, double sconces and the original button under the dining room table that was used to call servants. A half bath sits between the dining and kitchen across from a servant staircase and has an American Standard pedestal sink, Kohler commode, Carrera Marble floor and a former oval window repurposed as a mirror and solid wood wainscoting. The chef s kitchen has yellow pine flooring salvaged from joists of a factory. Custom made cabinetry by Joe Perks of Perks Design, LLC. Carrera marble honed counters, Wolf gas range top with griddle, Vent-a-hood commercial vent, double full sized ovens, panel-fronted Bosch dishwasher with 3rd rack, built-in microwave, refrigerator with snack drawer, insta-hot faucet and filtered water in island, Rohl Shaws sinks, Wilson Barber bridge faucet from England-all fixtures in unlacquered brass. There is an appliance garage, a pull-up KitchenAid mixer stand, two built-in trash cabinets, two disposals, a pull-out pantry and utility closet with motion lights, two cabinet doors that open and recess used for coffee/bar stations. The banquette has storage. Marvin windows and a patio door. Undercabinet, top of cabinet and recessed lights are all LED. Klipsch built-in speakers connect to wifi speaker in a cabinet. Skylight. The back porch is bluestone slate and overlooks the large rear yard complete with sledding hill that backs up to a rainwater storage area for the Germantown Settlement Music School. The second floor has three bedrooms. The front was used as a master but could double as a family room with a tile fireplace, a large closet and ceiling fan. The middle bedroom has a double door folding closet and built-in bookcase. A third bedroom is large with deep closet. All the closets have lighting and closet systems.
